How can I arrange a quote for scaffold hire?
We specialise in Kwikstage steel scaffold for residential and commercial projects. Most jobs can be quoted from plans, or we can visit the site for more complex projects.

Can you visit me onsite?
Yes! We can visit your site for complex jobs or buildings without plans. After-hour appointments may be available on request.

Which locations can I hire scaffold in?
We hire scaffold across Melbourne, regional Victoria, and surrounding suburbs, including Geelong, Torquay, and Ocean Grove.

Do I need scaffold for my building project?
Yes — WorkSafe regulations require all building sites to use scaffold where needed. Non-compliance can result in fines or site shutdowns.

What level of service do you offer?
We provide expert advice to keep your site safe and WorkSafe-compliant. All scaffolders and labourers are fully trained, qualified, and supervised.
We aim to complete every hire on time. While rare, weather or unforeseen issues can sometimes cause slight delays.
What is the minimum hire period for scaffold hire?
Our scaffold hire starts from just 2 weeks.
How far in advance do I need to book my scaffold installation?
Generally, 7–10 working days is enough to book your scaffold installation. During busy periods, such as December and around Easter, it’s best to give as much notice as possible to secure a booking.

Can I install the scaffold myself?
We do not recommend installing scaffold yourself due to safety and legal reasons. Western Scaffold is fully licensed, and our experienced staff can design, install, and dismantle scaffold to suit your requirements, with Public Liability and WorkCover insurance.
If you or your contractor is fully licensed, we can hire scaffold without our installation service. Please note: any scaffold installed by the builder or their contractors is the responsibility of the builder.
Can Western Scaffold install my scaffold outside normal business hours?
In some cases, we can arrange scaffold installation outside normal business hours or on weekends. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and check availability.
Will I get a discount for long hire periods?
Yes! We offer discounted weekly rates for long-term Kwikstage scaffold hire across Melbourne, regional Victoria, and surrounding suburbs.

Western Scaffold makes scaffold hire simple for Owner Builders. We design and install scaffold systems to suit your tradespeople’s workflow, helping them work safely and efficiently so your project stays on schedule — saving you time and money.
As an Owner Builder, you’re responsible for ensuring your site complies with WorkSafe laws. Non-compliance can result in fines, site shutdowns, or legal action if someone is injured. We can help make sure your site is safe and meets all regulations.
Just send us your plans and contact details, and we’ll work with you to provide the right scaffold system for your project.

Which scaffold products do you sell?
We offer a wide range of scaffold products, including Steel Modular Scaffold, Steel Planks, Acrow Props, Aluminium Mobile Towers, Scaffold Ladders, Aluminium Planks, and Shade Cloth.

Do you sell only to builders?
No — we sell to builders, bricklayers, renderers, carpenters, painters, owner-builders, and individuals.
Will I get a discount for bulk purchases?
Yes! We offer great discounts on steel and aluminium scaffold for large orders, including container loads.

Can you deliver to me?
Yes! We deliver scaffold Australia-wide — from major cities to regional locations. If there’s a road or a port, we can get it there!
General Enquiries
What are your business hours?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (excluding public holidays and the Christmas period).
Our scaffold teams work onsite Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm.
You’re welcome to send plans or enquiries anytime via email — we’ll get back to you during office hours.
What are your payment methods?
We accept payment by cash, EFT, or company cheque (please note a 3-day clearance period applies for cheques).
Builders can also apply for a credit account — just email us for an application form. Applications are processed within 5 business days and are subject to approval.
How do I get a job with Western Scaffold?
